Addressing Your Coronavirus Concerns

We are here to help. We want you to know that for your best health and wellbeing.
Your best defense is your own internal defense ... so empower it with being proactive with your health.
It is the responsibility of each person (Worker or Client) to take every precaution to protect each other.

We understand your concerns, so we have outdone ourselves in preparing our business for you! The safety of our staff and customers is essential to us, so we have:
*Cleaned and/or disinfected all surfaces and implements.
*Laundered all towels, and linens, blankets, and table pads.
*Removed any reading material and non-essential items that can be removed throughout our business.
*Initiated contactless methods of scheduling and payment where we can.
*Acquired appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment to be used when necessary).
*Discontinued the practice of handshaking and other non-essential contact at this time.
*Re-trained our staff on essential infection control and hand hygiene practices.
*All staff members are encouraged to wash their hands throughout the day with warm water and soap. *Hand sanitizer is used often.
*Our lobbies (that we are in control of) are fully sanitized twice daily.
*All clients and staff are instructed to stay home if showing any signs of illness and seek medical attention.
*We discourage any eating or snacking in our office lobbies or any other public spaces.
*Bottled water is given upon request.

Feel free to ask any of us at any time about all that we do to provide for your safety.
Come and do a massage tune-up as soon as you are able, to reap the rewards of a fine-tuned immune system and body.
Please relax and enjoy your service!
The Another Day In Paradise Team

Guidelines and recommendations we follow in accordance with the CDC:

Revised hours:

Our hours may have changed or are limited at this time as we restart and add appointments. This is appropriate to accommodate changes to the pre- and post-session disinfecting protocols, as well as to eliminate the overlap of clients in the business space.

As per CDC:

In accordance with extended shelter-in-place recommendations to protect our more vulnerable populations, we are not working with clients with compromised immune systems, clients aged 65 or above, or clients in other elevated at-risk categories at this time.
There are “new” protocols in my practice that I am required to adhere to at this time. (e.g. for the time being, please refrain from shaking hands or hugging, and limiting our “talk” during sessions). Safety is an important element of your therapy.

Text and Screening:

Please text that you have arrived for your appointment. We ask that you arrive a few minutes early for the initial screening questions, and temperature screening and to sign an Informed Client Consent Form about the risk of infection. This is to enable us to open in the era of COVID-19

Practitioner personal screening and Hygiene:

Practitioners are to take a personal temperature reading at the start of their day. This is recorded every day. Practitioners: Wear a face mask and gloves (Vinyl or Nitrile) (non-latex gloves) when seeing clients.

Face Masks (PPEs):

Clients are to wear a face mask at this time when arriving and receiving services. Please bring a face covering. One can be provided for you if you do not have one. Together, we will evaluate your breathing comfort during the Prone positioning portion of the massage session. When Supine (on your back), please wear your face mask.

Temperature Screening:

Practitioners are to take the Client’s temperature with a digital thermometer upon arrival at the business. Log each result. Health privacy will be strictly adhered to. No ill clients will be allowed in the business.

Hygiene:

The CDC recommends we all take steps to ensure everyone adheres to respiratory hygiene, cough etiquette, and hand hygiene. There are supplies provided for respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette, including alcohol-based hand rub (ABHR) with 60%–95% alcohol, tissues, and no-touch receptacles for trash disposal. Please use hand sanitizer before and after sessions. Hand sanitizers are in every room for your use.

Storage for personal belongings:

A plastic container to put personal belongings and clothing in is provided in each room. Please use this for your belongings.

Spacing Appointments:

Sessions will be distanced at 30 minute spaces between appointments to allow for disinfecting protocols. We will use hospital grade, EPA-approved disinfectants to clean.

Sanitizing:

All room surfaces are fully sanitized with Disinfectant following each client session, including door handles, massage table levers, session tables, and all touchable surfaces. You are also welcome to wipe down any surfaces again with the sanitizer provided.
Further precautions: We are providing envelopes for payments and tips (cash or checks) Credit cards are wiped before and after transactions. Pens that are used are to be placed in a container to be sanitized.

New Cancellation Policy:

Amid the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, we have modified our cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to all our clients. We hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, we understand and request for you to please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations.

New Booking Policy:

Due to COVID-19, we are temporarily limiting the number of daily appointments and they are by appointment only. The health and safety of our clients and staff is very important to us. For this reason, walk-in appointments will not be accepted and clients who are not currently receiving a service will be asked to step out in order to control the number of people within the salon/spa/clinic.

If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat, please reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic. If you have been to a COVID-19-impacted area or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact
