| Grouping plants by the color of the flowers is arbitrary and perhaps even capricious as well. Not only is there wide genetic variation in the pigmentation of flowers, but people perceive colors differently. What the authors calls pink, you might call lavender. When comparing flowers in nature with those on the screen, look at other color sections with similiar hues also. Please scroll down for names of red-orange, blue-purple, other color flowers.
