Sarcasm is a horrible way
to put emphasis on what you say,
going to ears your directing it to
can't be a good thing for you to do,

for it's a twisted meaning and often perceived
as a mean or rude intention indeed,
it's a sign that your not clearly stating,
your point intended is minus relating

for sarcasm really doesn't require reply,
it's just meant to hurt without saying why,
so remember communication is surely hard enough,
without cruel innuendos making it tough

I'd rather hear whispers and words from the heart
than ill attempts at humor, I don't want to start
to even distinguish digs with a reply
I'd rather just look at you with a sigh,

that knows between friends, lovers, and kin,
people should always try to begin,
talking to each other with greatest respect,
and emotion filled words with aim to protect.
