With steadfast devotion,
I'm missing you so,
how I wanted to stay
and watch you grow

I wanted to be there
most endlessly,
to view the world
by what you see

I wanted our hearts
entwined evermore,
as I tell you of things
I've seen before

I wanted the 
refection of your eyes
to sing in my soul
of love so wise

that knows enough
to smile and dance
embracing each other
not missing a chance

but instead in my heart
you lie so sweet,
as I wait for 
just one day to repeat

the giggles, the tears
the comforting smile
that's forever Marissa
who I miss all the while.
