Through this medium of 
typing around the world,
there of those of us that have noticed
a profound new experience,
a connecting of spirits
without even meeting
in person.

A experience in which the 
written word is the only 
display of character,
the only representative
of a lone soul,

no shadows cast upon
a foreign appearance,
nor prejudice to rear
it’s vain and ugly head

we are words now,
words so powerful
so descriptive,

we are just words
simple 
yet oh so profound.

In this new way of 
connecting comes
also a new feeling
known only 
to those with
a open heart,
and a open mind.

This new feeling
that only few will
admit too
is the feeling
of the other person
as if the spirit 
can travel
through the 
keyboard.

Yes 
some of us
believe
this to be
true.
