They say it meant nothing
no nothing at all,
all the while not seeing
you just took a fall

they stare at you
with blank empty eyes
and make you feel
your not so wise

with their 
attitude so high
they look at you 
and wonder why

you can't let go
that they were indiscreet,
they can't see that
you fear a repeat

they've no knowledge
no none at all
of vows that were broken
of vows that weren't small

they think your 
silly for all your pain
and your there left
with love in vain

and in that love
you try to hang on
but it's never the same
now the trust is gone

but your the only 
one that knows
because a cheater
is one of those

people that can't 
live from the heart,
when they live tearing
other peoples apart.

so it's now futile 
don't you see,
for the faithful and the
cheaters to ever agree.

The cheaters live life
next to one that's forgiven
hut honey that's really
not what one can call livin'

for the one that's forgiven
can never forget,
but the cheater lives life
without a regret

oh they act like they
really do understand
the pain they've caused
because pain made a demand

some tiny small
reason to see
"oh yes the cheater
really does love me"

but what ever could
a cheating love show
when it's killed a love
and doesn't even know?
