Not Just For A Day
Can you imagine
the weight of Christ's Love?
To endure that disgrace,
just to put us above,
our own self infliction,
to wrongful addiction,
to things we put higher
than his loving embrace,
His love that we waste,
is our biggest disgrace .
When we should be calling
on him and obey,
we think we have fallen
from his grace,
and we say.
On Sunday I'll ask your forgiveness,
Oh Lord
for these days that are left in the week,
I've ignored,
to call out your name
and believe with same trust,
that I have on Monday
with spirit robust.
