You touched me,
so deep and tender,
straight to my heart
your letters did render

a brand new outlook
on my work and such
you made me feel
you need me so much,

words can never thank you
how you made me feel that day
the letters came all pouring in
you all had much to say,

here at my keyboard
I reach out to you,
but what you gave back
I never quite knew

thank you for letting me
into your hearts,
I feel I'm in places
where sadness departs

where courage is formed
in a shared heart sigh
and I'm grateful to know
you're all so close by.
