Give me back my health,
make me strong once more
I long to be the one
that I alone adore,

give me back my thoughts
faithful and so true
let me be the one
to no more think of you

give me back my heart
my soul and spirit to
give me back my way of life
a fighter through and through

for finally no longer
do I yet believe
that you want to be a part
of the dream we did conceive,

I know it was a lie,
a falsehood to the core
betrayal of intentions
a myriad of lore.
