Take him under your wings
show him the way to be
teach him how to believe
no one is dearer than he

give him a shoulder to lean on
lend him a strong helping hand
give him a smile so he knows 
all the while that he is so grand,

all he needs is someone to show him
to believe he can do great things,
it wasn't something I gave him
but I wish his future brings

all that he needs to hold onto
for confidence, strength and more
that he finds he's more than just able
and his minds a great place to explore

so give him the help that I couldn't
'cause no one believed in me to
show him the same thing I learned
our treasure's in things that we do.
