Sense of Right
Is it right or is it wrong
and when do we ask the question?
In each daily movement,
or in each expression?
Do we ask it of ourselves
when in a bind or stuck
or do we go along
and just rely on luck?
Or maybe sense of habit
is what rules our daily fair
or a sense of conscience
tells us that we care?
What determines us asking
ourselves when in need
a answer to our query
and when do we heed?
Should I do this or that
I wonder to myself,
and wait for the answer
taken from a mental shelf?
If I bide my time I come to know
what I need to hear
if it's right I'll know it
and if it's wrong, I'll fear.
