A year since I've seen that
great look in your eyes,
the glow of the love
that wears no disguise,

the comfort you gave
the loving sweet glow
I miss it so much 
more than you can know

for all the shared laughter
and to, the shared tears
you by my side
for so many years

I've faced this year without
seeing your face my son,
my love never ending
we two always one

in great understanding
and sharing of days,
has left an impression
upon my hearts gaze.
