The Greatest Mystery
It all seems clouded in mystery
the life that lays beyond,
the mist of clouds, the lovely dew
that lays upon a pond,
the green that grows so lushly
the birds that sing so bright,
the darkness and the cold
that embrace a starry night
the vastness that surrounds you
goes on most endlessly
but pales in comparision
of the space in you and me,
for there's room to love, and room to learn
and room to see what's true,
if you'd only open to the space,
the place that's inside you.
