Empty Lament
Should I have great heartache when ever I think of you? Or dream of how we could have been living as we two? Should my heart be longing, for the what we could have been, or should I feel the stabbing pain, in my heart where I let you in? Yes I should feel these things,
and certainly so much more,
but I can't for I don't know what I'm missing you for, you never talked about yourself, nor shared just who you were nor told me of your day, no, these thoughts did not occur. So how could I be lamenting, for what we could have been, when I wonder who you were, time and time again.
