If you hear yourself 
raise your voice,
and think that you
have no choice,

that it can be 
the only way,
that I will listen 
to what you say,

then I think that
you are wrong,
force does not
make one strong.

Instead I think
it makes one rude,
and certainly 
no less than crude.

Only treat me gentle
and ever so tenderly
to get the very best
response from me.
