Shouldn't our
thoughts and prayers be with everyone on this Earth?
We are all in the hands of a Power far greater than we know.
No matter the flag we stand for, or the God we believe in.
I pray for the world, every living thing on it.
I pray for the smallest to the largest. I pray for you, me, my
children
The families and loved ones in all the nations of the world tonight.
I pray for the sanity and love of a peace loving country.
I pray as well for the compassion and mercy of that highest of
powers.
I pray that reason and understanding will win out over all.
I pray that those who face each other on the field of battle,
will at the crucial moment, come to understand the futility of
fighting, and come to embrace the love of that highest of powers.
I pray for those who willingly put themselves into the path of
harm to protect us all, I pray for those who stand in defense
of their homeland.
I know the horror of battle, I know the pain of loss that comes from it. I do not wish harm on any. I seek the quiet way of understanding.
But I KNOW there are those whose understanding of this world is skewed, whose vision is one of darkness and pain. Not only for them selves, but for those they influence as well. Their vision causes suffering and death for those around them. They bring, by their very existence, a darkness to this place. I pray that this is the thing we fight against. That it is this thing we seek to overcome in this event. If we do nothing, what then could be the outcome? If we stand and wring our hands at the oncoming night, does night not fall anyway?
Blessings upon all who stand, but not on the darkness behind this event. May that one be found out and cast aside.
This I do pray.
In the hope we may ALL may be better in the end.
Blessings upon us all
