troubleshooting
If you're having login problems, odd crashing, and odd lag,
here are things you should check and consider:
- Open Internet Explorer, open Tools, and Internet
Options.
Under "Temporary Internet Files" click the "Delete Files
Button" to clear out the browser cache folder. This
helps elevate some login problems.
- Reboot your PC to clear out any memory leaks.
Updating all your drivers and software is VERY important
- Download new video drivers from
NVIDIA, or
ATI
- Get sound card drivers from
Creative (if you
have a sound blaster card)
- Also check the home page for your motherboard
manufacture for sound driver updates, chipset drivers
updates, etc.
- Update Internet Explorer and security patches via
Windows

- Update DirectX 9 to the latest version via
Windows
Update
- Update FLASH plug-in from
macromedia.com

Six Hour
Sessions
The current setup for THERE is your login sessions
technically only last 6 hours, even though your avatar may
be online for hours longer. The web servers will time
you out after 6 hours, this is why after 6 hours you may not
be able to view web pages, and your profile may show you as
offline. If you're working on vehicle skills they will
NOT be recorded if the servers believe you are
offline. Be sure to "relog" to get everything up
correctly.
