Jin Shin Jyutsu® translated from Japanese language, means:

"The Art of the Creator through One of Knowing andCompassion."

The simplicity of Jin Shin Jyutsu is that everything we need to know and help ourselves is in our fingers and hands.

Below is a list of classes currently being offered in the Mount Shasta area, for learning the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu.

June 15 - 19, 2005 (next year) - 5-Day Basic Seminar with Instructor Anita Willoughby

More information about the individual classes is given after the following two paragraph introduction. Please note: Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider of CEU’s by the California Board of Registered Nurses and Acupuncturists. Massage Therapy CEU’s are available for National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork therapists. Jin Shin Jyutsu is not intended to replace professional medical help.

The essence of Jin Shin Jyutsu Physio (Nature) Philosophy (pronounced "jin shin jit sue")  is Effortless Reality.  With Jin Shin Jyutsu every woman, man, and child can come to know each of us is endowed with the ability to tap into, harmonize and balance the energy pathways that feed Life into all of our cells. One of the greatest gifts of Jin Shin Jyutsu is the extensive self-help applications available to us. By learning finger and hand positions gently applied to ourselves, we can access the pulse of Life within us to support ourselves and our families in more joyful health.

In 1912, a Japanese scientist named Jiro Murai cleared himself of a life-threatening illness with Zen breathing and finger mudras. He spent the rest of his life researching, studying, fasting and meditating with the sole purpose of understanding and sharing what actually happened to him. During this time,  the principles of Jin Shin Jyutsu were founded. The principles of Jin Shin Jyutsu are not specifically Japanese. Rather, they are an innate wisdom within all of humanity. Ancient records still secured in the Imperial Palace in Japan, tell of an innate healing art passed down through oral traditions that existed before the birth of Gautama Buddha in India, before the birth of Moses, recorded in the Bible, and before the time of the writing of the Kojiki (Ancient Record of Things, Japan, 712 A.D.)
