Quarto, 575 pages, heavily illustrated with photographs and timetables. Bound in green cloth. There is a light, apparently oil-based stain to the top of the spine and the adjoining areas of the front and back boards, and to a silver dollar-sized area, inside at the top of the front hinge. The stain does not affect any of the text and does not extend beyond the endpapers. The dust jacket shows the stain across the same areas, and has been neatly repaired with clear tap in three areas. Additionally, laid in is a copy of 'The Western Railroader,' Volume 16, No. 4, February, 1953, Issue 160, which is entirely about the Napa Valley Route. Overall, a very good copy in a very good dust jacket; the definitive book on the subject.
