DUNSMUIR 1960'S
(Page Five)

THE MAIN PORTION OF THE ORIGINAL ROUNDHOUSE WAS TORN DOWN IN 1960. REUSABLE BRICKS THAT WERE SAVED ARE NEATLY PILED. THE MACHINE SHOP IS NEXT TO GO. THE BASE OF THE TALL STACK AND THE BRICK BUILDING BESIDE IT ARE STILL STANDING AT THE PRESENT TIME.

THE LAST SIX STALLS OF THE ROUNDHOUSE ARE STILL STANDING IN THIS 1960 VIEW FROM THE FOOT BRIDGE. THE MALLET SHED IS THE BUILDING TO THE RIGHT AND THE DIESEL SANDING STRUCTURE CAN BE SEEN BETWEEN THE SHED AND THE ROUNDHOUSE. THE MALLET SHED IS THE ONLY STRUCTURE STILL STANDING AND NOW IS THE HOME OF THE DUNSMUIR RAILCAM.
