(PRINT# NCE-5)

On the weekend of June 3-4-5th 2011 a special train from the Bay Area passed through Northern California. The train went by way of Oroville, the Feather River and on to Klamath Falls by way of the BNSF Highline. The train then came down the UP through Dunsmuir and back to the Bay Area. I followed it on Sunday as it came through the Mt Shasta area. The train consisted of six private cars and Amtrak equipment. The private cars consisted of the "Caritas", "Scenic View", "Silver Lariat", "Plaza Santa Fe", "Silver Splendor", Milwaukee Dome 800862, and ex Santa Fe Business car #33 bringing up the rear. Amtrak's dome "Ocean View" was also on the train.
