Ecology Camp Packing List |
____ Change of clothes for five days (plan for any weather—include shorts and warm clothes, gloves, warm jackets, underclothes, black clothes for night games, swimsuit, shoes for hiking, extra shoes, etc....) Cotton will not keep students warm if they are wet or cold. Polyester and fleece is a better choice. This is especially true for rafting day which will be in the low 60's. *note: Girls, PLEASE don’t make teachers be the “clothes police”. Dress modestly (long shorts, swimsuit covers). Note: As of today, the weather report indicates a bit of rain. It will be in the low 60's. Layers are suggested. Mornings will be around 35 degrees (or lower). If students have thin sleeping bags, they should throw in extra blankets.
