The Wall

It never ceases to amaze me when I look at the scarp
of the east side of the Sierras. Can you imagine how
the pioneers felt when they encountered this ?
A ten thousand foot high wall.........

The Lava Flows are from the actual
crack in the earth's surface where
the fault is along the base of the mountain range.
