January 5 - January 27- TREASURED ART - Community Participation Show Members of the community share their favorite artwork from their personal collection. Membership not required. No fee.
February 2 - February 24- UNRAVELING - Call to Artists Have you ever felt like a ball of string rolling down a hill and coming undone? Art pieces that express the experience of unraveling. Membership not required. No fee
March 1- March 30- FIBER ART SHOW - Call to Artists Includes: basketry, paper, bead work (not jewelry), art quilts and all other needle arts. Membership not required. No fee
April 5 - April 27- TRINITY COUNTY ANNUAL YOUNG ARTISTS SHOWCASE Trinity County Office of Education: selected artwork from Trinity County art classes
May 3 -June 1- PATT CAUSEY and JEWEL DeMOSS Siskiyou County artists and 2007 Juried Art Show winners feature works in acrylic, water-media collage, and three dimensional collage, ceramic, metal and handmade paper.
June 7 - June 29- DIANA WRIGHT TROXELL Oil painting artist from Cottonwood
July 4 - July 27- DAN MOLYNEUX Sculpture and ceramic artist, who participated in Highland's '2007 Group Ceramic Show,' is returning with more of his outstanding work.
August 2 - September 2- FAULTLINE STUDIO ARTISTS East Bay fiber artists’ group show. Art Quilts and more...
September 6 - September 28- 'Different Visions of the World: watercolors by Karen C. Hammer and Evelyn MERCER Ward' Well-known Trinity County watercolor artists
October 4 - October 26- 24TH ANNUAL JURIED ART SHOW - Call to Artists Sculpture, mixed media, print making, drawing, pastels, and paintings: oil, acrylic, water-media. Membership required. $5 per piece entry fee.
November 1 - November 23- 17TH ANNUAL JURIED PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW - Call to Artists Black & white, color, digital. Membership required. $7 per piece entry fee.
November 28 - December 24- CHRISTMAS SHOW - Call to Artists Membership not required. No fee
Special Events Calendar
July 4th - Independence Day- Highland Art Center’s 4th of July Arts & Crafts Fair - crafts, food, live music and dance in the Highland Art Center Meadow
Farmer's Market: May - October- Trinity Organic Grower's Association - every Wednesday - 4 pm to 7 pm in the Highland Art Center Meadow
Quit Show - October 6- Quilts decorate the town. Arts & crafts fair in the Highland Meadow. Highland Art Center presents a wearable art fashion and jewelry show
