Coffee Creek Volunteer Fire Personnel
The Coffee Creek Volunteer Fire District is a Volunteer organization which provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the North Trinity Lake Area. On many occasions emergency fire and medical aid is provided to neighboring and distant communities such as Trinity Center, Weaverville, Lewiston, and Hayfork.
Mutual response agreements with other governmental agencies such as the U.S. Forest Service and California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection frequently result Coffee Creek's providing services to protect Federal and State lands and facilities.
The Volunteers are your neighbors and friends who respond to these emergencies when the call comes with emergency medical transport rescue, and fire suppression equipment.
In 2004, District personnel will put in over 3000 man hours in training, and responding to emergencies. The Fire Flies auxiliary will also spend many hundreds of hours supporting and assisting with District emergency activities.
Financial support for the District comes solely from donations, foundation and other grants, and fund raisers.(7/11/04)
