The "Voluntary Recycle Area" at Weaverville Transfer Station - NOLOGNER ACCEPTS GLASS, PLASTIC, CANS, etc.
THE WEAVERVILLE TRANSFER STATION DOES ACCEPT RECYCLE "Flat" Cardboard, Bundled Newspaper, Chipboard, Magazines, Misc. paper.
NOTE: Reciepts for paper/cardboard with estimates in cubic feet are provided on request. The customer is to keep their recycle receipts. At a later date they will able to bring them, be totaled, and have the amount for recycled paper/cardborad will be converted to US Dollars on single transaction prior to annual deadline for CREDIT APPLIED TO THE TRINITY COUNTY GARBAGE FEE.
LIMITED RECYCLING : "flat" cardboard, bundled newspaper, magazines and other paper items.
In the future it will be the policy of TC to advise citizens of commercial recycle locations for processing of glass, plastic, aluminum cans,etc. It will provide recycling ONLY for paper/cardboard if there is not a local place in operation.
