- Location- N/E California, approxiamately 260 miles from San Francisco, between Redding

- Size- 2,000,000 acres..but only 3% of the land is privately owned.
- Elevation above Sea Level- 600 to 9,000 feet
- Quality of Life- Excellent!
- Climate- The season's changes are reflected in the beauty of the leaves of the forest, snow capped
mountains and the legendary Trinity Rivers and Lakes.

- Trinity County Business Directory- All the county's business listings.
- Commercial and Industrial Land- Available- Industrial Park in Weaverville, lots of commercially zoned property in Hayfork, and other parts of County. Supervisors will consider beneficial zoning, planning, etc. County General Plan being revised with an eye on economic growth and quality of life complimenting eachother.
- Shipping-USPS, UPS, FEDEX, Rapid, and Common Carriers for Shipping to and from Trinity County.
- Water & Sewer- Weaverville, Lewiston, Hayfork and other areas have local sewer and water agencies, most other areas have wells, individual septic and small community systems.
- Home Business- Permitted: Minimal regulations: Fire, Safety, Parking, Planning, etc.
- County Business License- There are presently NO general county business licenses- There are some pending regulations, involving "use permits" to be required for some business activity. Eventually, a "Peddler's License" type protective ordinance will be implimented to benefit the community.
- State Business License- Professional and Contractor's Licensing required by the state and their
regulations enforced. Contractors, Fishing Guides, Forestry, Professions,etc. all require licenses.
- Special Tax and Loan Considerations- There are often special programs, and the county government is interested in establishing appropriate business location within the county.

- CA State Board of Equalization- State Sales Tax. There are presently NO special districts with additional tax rates above the basic state sales tax rate.

cell sites in planning stage paid for by special CA fund for rural areas. Due to engineering, environmental, and other considerations there may not be any new Cell Sites in operation until 2008 or later.
- 911 Emergency Telephone Calls- Dial 911, Tell Dispatcher your location! Trinity County's E-911 system is not fully operational yet. If you are in a vehicle look for a "Mile Marker Sign" and tell operator the numbers on it.
- Users of "INTERNET TELEPHONES" - Your telephone connection will NOT display your exact location (Often displays out of state location)- TELL THE OPERATOR WHERE YOU ARE! - VONAGE, etc.
- Pay Telephone Locations- Few and far between. Phones are sometimes vandalized and out of service for extended periods, or removed.
- New Wireless Phone and Internet services are expanding each year. VOICE OVER INTERNET TELEPHONE SERVICE DOES NOT HAVE E-911 INFORMATION.
