The Weaverville - Douglas City Recreation District is Located in Northern California's Trinity County. These Gold Rush Communities are located 50 miles West of Redding, California.

The District provides and maintains facilities for youth and adult services. These facilities are used for recreation, exercise, team and individual competition, performance and events of all kinds. The Lowden Park Pool and the Lee Fong Park Facilities are operated by the District. (530) 623-5925.

The County of Trinity General Services Department provides Rental Facility Information/Application Forms online. Contact Sharon Scott, at TC General Services at (530) 623-1319 (ext.100) for further information on Lowden Park, Veteran's Hall, JUnction City Park, Hayfork Park and other facilities. Pre-Payment, Proof of Insurance, and etc. is required.

NOTE: Security may also be an issue due to law enforcement staff cut-backs, and funding.
