Season's Greetings again to you and yours from Historic Weaverville, in Northern California's Trinity County and the Shasta-Trinity National Forest. We are not just dreaming of a White Christmas...like last year, .it is already here. The Trinity Alps are Snow-capped completing the WebCam Christmas image for you.

Outside some Christmas ornaments in the form of brightly colored CD's and some colored styrofoam spheres are attatched with fishing line and hanging from a twisted and otherwise unremarkable pine tree not far from the street. But now during the Christmas season it is a proud Christmas Tree bringing a symbol of Christmas to those that may pass by. A small traditional tree will be inside trimmed with ornaments bringing memories of Christmas Past, and inspiring thoughts of hope for Christmas Future.

You can view the Trinity Alps and other images through the "TrinityCam" 'INFOsite Webcam, my year-around gift to you. There is presently some snow on the mountains above and we have already this year had light snowfall in Weaverville at 760m(2400') elevation about 225 miles North of San Francisco this year. As I type this letter, about two weeks before Christmas, Northern California is experiencing the usual light rains, overcast and some snow. If NWS - NOAA Weather Alerts for snow storms are received, they will be displayed on the TrinityCam Homepage.

Again this year, I wish you and yours all good health and happiness again for 2005 and always. I hope that the Holiday Season finds you warm, safe and in good health with with family and friends. We all have much to reflect on during this Christmas Season.

There have been many great changes in my websites this year. New feature websites to promote Weaverville (WeavervilleCam) and Hayfork (HayforkValley), joining www.trinitylake.info that supports Lewiston,Coffee Creek and Trinity Center Areas.

The addition of atleast one more TrinityCam Webcam next year is expected, WeavervilleCam along with MobileCam, the traveling Weaverville Digital/Webcam that has been showing images from various places year-around for your enjoyment. I hear from folks everywhere that view my Webcams and learn about Trinity County on my Websites. It is a great feeling to know that am able to attract and help Tourists from around the world.

God Bless you and yours at Christmas and throughout the year. I hope Santa visits and brings you what you have wished for, or atleast what you need. If it is not found under your tree, please remember that Santa has had to conform with the new international anti-terrorist flight restrictions and they may impact deliveries this year and the future to some extent.

As you doubtless know, Santa's antique Red wooden Sleigh and his eight tiny reindeer are Magic and powered with the hopes, desires, and dreams of the World's Children of all ages.

Santa has made his rounds for centuries, dodging bad weather, finding you when you moved, surviving too many portions of cookies and hot chocolate or milk, restrictive environmentally conforming fireplaces, Satellite TV and Ham Radio Antennas on rooftops without reflectors, Security Systems and even the occasional heat-seeking missle/RPG.. So far, Rudolph's glowing Red nose and Prancers fancy footwork have guided them all safely to the homes of boys and girls of all ages everywhere and a safe return to the North Pole..

Recent world events involving terrorism have forced us to realize that our lives as Americans have changed in many ways forever. As we prepare to meet these challenges, let us not forget to pause and consider what we can do for our neighbors and others at Christmas even more than in the past. Consider supporting your Community Food Bank or other worthwhile local cause that will help to make other's lives more hopefull allyear-around.

Finally, please remember in your thoughts and prayers those that will be far from their homes and family in the military services. Remember also those in Public Safety and Emergency Medical Services that look after us in our communities that will be dealing with new challenges to protect and serve in the future.
