Lonely Woman
"Oh, oh", cries the lonely woman
laying at night in her bed,
the sound reaches in to the night
and then comes back to rest in her head
for she is the only one
that can hear
her echoing voice
of her pain so clear
but her cry floats
out just a bit
into her room
to a lamp that's lit
no reason to keep the lamp on
don't you see
no one is coming
alone she will be
and as she reaches to
turn out the light
"Oh, oh" she cries
"what a lonely night"
