I wait all through
the long lonely week,
for Saturday when
we can speak,
rates are lower
it costs less
to linger on and
reminese,
at 7 years old
I tried to explain
how phone bills
are such a pain,
and then I told
of my new plan
and how we could talk
"hey really, we can"
then sweetly
Marissa said to me
It's talk all day day,
and that's what will be
for a while on Saturday's
it's just she and I,
talking and loving,
it helps me get by,
'til I'm by her side
once more,
for giggles and hugs
and pure joy galore.
