Sometimes Pride Stands Alone


You can't know my feelings, you can't see my pain. You don't know my wishes are all sometimes in vain. For forces ruling all the laws of our finest lands never see the beauty for which honor stands. Alone I face my honesty, in darkness, truth is there. In quiet stillness all pride rests, behind a wondering stare.
