They come to me in anguish
seeking comfort here
their makeup running down their face,
and looking sweet and dear
they seem confused
to say the least.
What they need is good advice.
He's such a beast we both agree
that "He" just won't be nice.
They swear in all sincerity,
they're leaving him for good,
and secretly I wish and pray
