BIOGRAPHY: Born in banton, Kilsyth, Scotland. Employed mainly as a coal miner, his last job was with the Scottish Electricity Board as a Storeman.James was a very religious man and worshipped at the Banton Babtist Church (Which is still standing).
BIOGRAPHY: Born 1891 at Low Riggend, New Monkland in the County of Lanark Scotland, Agnes was the sister of her husbands first wife. Moved to assist James Horne Jarvie with his four children after the death of his first wife. They Married in 1914.Died of Deep Vien Thrombosis at Stobhill Hospital, (Glasgow 1983).
