A Trip To the Forest
She uses her resources,
she pools her talents well.
The grandest lady of the land,
has quite a tale to tell.
But listen very closely,
and pay attention if you will,
for sometimes she's so quiet,
she almost seems still.
You must tread so carefully
to the forest floor,
and visit mother nature,
here's what you'll have in store.
The hushing of the falling leaves
embracing forest ground
stirs in every spirit,
a secret to be found.
Wishes hold no reason,
as you behold the sight,
the changes of the season
as day becomes the night.
We should shed so gracefully
our seasons when we're through,
and wait in quiet stillness,
until growth makes us renew.
