Snowmobile Renter

  • Sunglasses!!
  • Warm, dry boots (e.g. Sorrells)
  • Gloves
  • Dry pants & jacket (waterproof)
  • Hand Warmers!
  • Extra socks
  • Long undies
  • Drinking water
  • Non-alcoholic beverages
  • Munchies (there are no services within 16 miles of the park).
  • Food - if out over 4 hours
  • Cell phone
  • Camera!

Watercraft Renter

  • Towels
  • Sun block (15 spf or higher!)
  • Non alcoholic beverages
  • Water / sodas
  • Food (BBQ's there)
  • Easy up / umbrella shade
  • Chairs / Lounge chairs
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses and sunglass holders
  • Camera
  • Sandals / watersox
  • Beach toys/squirt guns/ floatie toys,
  • and dont forget fishing gear!

Fun Factory owner Michele is always lugging around a huge backpack! Some have asked what is in it. She'll tell you!

  • Compass
  • Waterproof Matches
  • Probe pole (avalanche pole)
  • Long rope
  • Short rope
  • Extra wool sox
  • Extra long underwear
  • Extra gloves
  • Warm hat
  • Sterno - 2 cans
  • Sunblock
  • Flagging tape
  • Zip ties
  • Small saw (collapsible camping saw)
  • Flashlight (pen light type)
  • Extra AA batteries
  • Shovel!!
  • Crescent wrench
  • Leatherman's tool (w/screwdrivers, pliers, bottle/can opener, knife, etc.)
  • Pull rope for snowmobile
  • Tools for sled
  • Roll of toilet paper (fire starter/shit tickets!)
  • Large plastic bag (to keep her dry)
  • Space blankets - minimum of 2
  • Food - Granola bars, tuna in a can, fruit roll ups, dried fruit
  • Water!!
  • Tin cup to heat water
  • Spoon to eat with
  • Cellular phone
  • GPS unit
  • First aid kit
  • Flares - at least one
  • 2 Tampax!! Go ahead and laugh, but they make great fire starters! Just drop into gas and light! (Pull out of tank before lighting!) Light near wood and kindling.

You may wish to stock your own backpack like Michele has - plus anything you can think of you might need. It's a lot of stuff but you never know!
